Travel Insurance Plans

As we venture to some of the most remote regions of the world - and our guests often travel great distances to join our expeditions - we are pleased to offer passengers the protection and peace of mind provided through Trip Mate Travel Protection Plans.

Tour & Cruise Deluxe or Deluxe Plus Travel Protection (Optional Plans for Purchase)

Per the Terms and Conditions of Sale, our cancellation policy states that clients who for any reason cancel their intended expedition participation 120 days or fewer prior to departure forfeit all payments. With this in mind, we strongly suggest Quark travelers purchase a Travel Protection Plan that includes the following benefits: trip cancellation/trip interruption, emergency medical, baggage and baggage delay, and additional emergency evacuation/repatriation of remains benefits.

These benefits are part of the optional Plan available for purchase through Trip Mate Tour & Cruise Deluxe Travel Protection Plan.

Or, you may choose Trip Mate Tour & Cruise Deluxe Plus Travel Protection Plan, which in addition to the above coverages also offers a cancel for any reason benefit. The Cancel for Any Reason Benefit applies if You have purchased the Plan within 21 days of the date Your initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received. It allows You to cancel Your Trip for ANY reason not otherwise covered by the Plan Documents and be reimbursed for 75% of the unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for Travel Arrangements You paid for Your Trip, provided You insure 100% of Your Prepaid Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions and cancel Your Trip two (2) days or more before Your Scheduled Trip Departure Date.

Trip Mate Tour & Cruise Deluxe or Deluxe Plus Travel Protection Plans are available for purchase and can be reviewed HERE. NON-U.S. residents wishing to review or purchase insurance are asked to please contact a Quark Polar Travel Adviser for details

Frequently Asked Questions about Travel Insurance
